Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

An incredibly easy, delicious recipe that is full of flavour and requires minimal effort on your part! Simply add the ingredients to your slow cooker and walk away! Your meal is pretty much ready for you when you get home from work!





Ingredients

4 lbs pork shoulder

1 tablespoon paprika

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon mustard powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup water

1/2 cup ketchup


Directions

1. Mix the dry seasonings and rub them all over the pork shoulder. Place the apple cider vinegar, water and ketchup in the bottom of the slow cooker and stir them together. Place the pork shoulder on top. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

2. Remove pork and shred it, discarding any fatty pieces. Add the pork back into the slow cooker and mix well with the sauce.


Serve on a bun with coleslaw to complete your meal
