Chicken Noodle Casserole

This super easy Chicken Noodle Casserole is a deliciously simple meal that is sure to satisfy all the picky eaters in the house! Transform your leftover chicken or store-bought rotisserie chicken into a comforting, complete meal.





Ingredients

1 package noodles

1 1/2 cups frozen vegetables

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons flour

3 cups of milk

2 tablespoons chicken base

1 1/2 teaspoons thyme

1/2 teaspoon ground sage

3/4 teaspoon salt

pepper

1/4 cup Parmesan

1 cup mozzarella cheese

1 1/2 cups turkey or chicken, cooked and chopped


Directions


1. Preheat oven at 350F.

2. Cook noodles according to package directions. In the last minute, add frozen vegetables. Drain.

3. Meanwhile, melt butter and add flour to create a roux. Add milk and whisk to thicken. Add remaining ingredients and continue whisking until combined and thick. Chop the turkey or chicken and add to sauce.

4. Mix sauce and noodles and place in a baking dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
