Ingredients
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons brown sugar
2/3 cup honey
3 cups rolled oats
1 3/4 cups rice krispies cereal
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup mini chocolate chips, divided
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
2. In a saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar and honey and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
3. In a large bowl, combine, the oats, rice krispies, and hemp seeds. Add the honey mixture and toss to combine. Let cool for a couple of minutes and then stir in the chocolate chips.
4. Firmly press the mixture into the pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool completely and then refrigerate for 1 1/2 hours before cutting into bars. Keep refrigerated.
