This deliciously creamy sundried tomato pesto sauce is bursting with flavour! Served over whole wheat pasta, this dish makes for a great weeknight dinner!
Ingredients
450g spaghetti
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup sundried tomato pesto
salt and pepper
basil, sliced thinly
Directions
1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add flour and stir to create a roux. Add the milk and continue stirring until it begins to thicken. Stir in the sundried tomato pesto.
3. Drain pasta and add into the pot. Toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with basil.
