These healthy, gluten-free oat waffles are incredibly easy to make. No need to whisk egg whites separately. Pour everything into a blender and process until smooth. That's it! Crisp, fluffy waffles without the hassle!
Makes 5 waffles
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups oats (be sure to use gluten free oats for a gluten free waffle)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Directions
1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Let sit for 10 minutes.
2. Heat waffle iron on medium heat and pour 1/2 cup of batter into the center of the iron. Close lid and cook for approximately 5 minutes. Cooking times will vary depending on your waffle iron.
