This turkey gravy recipe uses pan drippings to make a flavourful gravy. If there are not enough drippings or none at all, you can easily substitute chicken or turkey stock instead!
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
4 cups pan drippings, run through a sieve (or chicken or turkey stock)
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a saucepan, melt the butter. Whisk in flour to create a roux. Slowly add the pan drippings and continue whisking until heated through and thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
